Ma’ayan maybe 15, but this book isn’t child’s play. This isn't your typical library book reading – it's an immersive horror experience designed to thrill and chill attendees. "Step into the Shadows" as the young author presents dramatic readings from the book's most haunting passages, guaranteed to send shivers down your spine. The event promises to be an unforgettable journey into the dark world of "Forever Darkness." Event Highlights Include: • Live dramatic readings from various stories and poems. • Author interview exploring the twisted inspirations behind the terror. • Interactive Q&A session where audience members can ask questions about the writing process. • Horror trivia game with sinister prizes for brave participants. • Book signing with exclusive horror-themed merchandise included with every purchase. • Refreshments …if you dare, they might bite back. Ma'ayan Harel-Sibelman, a West Hartford resident and rising 10th-grade student, has already garnered recognition from The Connecticut Writing Project and The Connecticut Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards competitions. Her accomplishment as a published author while still in high school demonstrates exceptional creativity and literary talent in the horror genre. "This event is designed to be more than just a book reading," says Ma'ayan. "I want people to experience the atmosphere and suspense that drives 'Forever Darkness.' It's going to be an interactive evening that horror fans won't forget." The Simsbury Free Library event is part of a series of appearances by the young author, who has additional book signings scheduled at Barnes & Noble locations. The West Hartford signing is coming up on June 21st. The anthology showcases Ma'ayan's ability to craft suspenseful narratives that keep readers on the edge of their seats. The event is free and open to the public, though space may be limited. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for this one-of-a-kind literary experience.
